Where There's A Will, There's A Way!

My sister has her children on a gluten free and dairy free diet. That would explain the Vaccine Blog that I always mention. Tonight she called me, worried about what her son would eat at his Valentine's party tomorrow at school. (Most candy has gluten in it.) She had a gluten free and dairy free cake mix leftover from their birthdays. I tried to explain how to make a swirl with frosting to look like a flower. She just emailed me these pictures. I am so proud of her! I know that her son will be so proud of his momma and he will be so excited to share these beautiful cupcakes with his class. What a great mother you are to turn something negative or hard for your son, into something so beautiful and positive! I am diabetic and I know how hard it is to be little and watch others eat things that you can't. Tam, you win best mother award today! I love you! Now go to sleep, it's late!

It is so wonderful to be grandma to sisters who love each other and help each other so much. The cupcakes were beautiful and I'm certain that Brody will be so proud to give these to his class. Love you Granma Z

Wow, I seriously need to take some baking lessons from your family! Those look yummy! Speaking of diabetes...here's the number for the doctor I told you about 801-314-4500. Her name is Dr. Sohrevardi. (You can delete this after you read it if you want!)

Her cupcakes rock! That diet is so hard ~ I'm a slacker mom that gave up after two years - parties are the hardest part!

By the way I talked to my nieghbor who doesn't vacinate and she found an awesome pedi that doesn't push her on it and I was going to remember his name and forgot... I'm sorry!!! So if your little sister is still looking for a doctor let me know and I'll ask her again - or you can talk to her :) It is little Gracie in Hali's class - her mom Skye.
