We decided to go with Eric to mow Grandpa Hamann's lawn. Garret fell asleep in the car on the way there, so me and Hali had some time to ourselves. (After I posted this I realized that people were going to be worried about Garret asleep in a hot car. Don't worry, I am the most paranoid mom in the world. I left all the doors open, and kept him in my sight at all times. Then every 2 to 3 minutes I ran back to check his breathing.)All Hali wanted to do was climb Grandpa's apple trees. She had never climbed trees before and she loved it! I spent an hour and a half taking pictures of her climbing. She was sill in T-ball clothes, but I still think the pictures are cute. 
You know how everyone tells you that your kids look just like you or your spouse? Well I hear that alot about Hali or Garret with me and Eric and I can never see it. After I downloaded these pictures I was looking through them, and I could totally see me in Hali. It was a neat experience for me. I know that sounds really silly but I liked to finally see it for myself.

Adorable pictures. And yes, Hali does look like you! I feel the same about my girls. Just once I want to hear that some piece of me made it into my children...I mean, I only carried them around in my body for 9 months! Don't I deserve a little recognition for that? :)
