HELP! Hali has turned into a girly girl overnight! As I've mentioned before, she has always been a "tough girl". I was really not expecting what I've seen over the last few days.
1. She wants to marry all the little boys on our street.
2. I caught her telling them that the first one to get something for her got a kiss!!!
3. The next day I saw one of the boys kiss her on the cheek!
4. Today at the mall she wanted me to buy her a purse!
I have tried to tell her that kissing is for someone special and she insists that the boy down the street is "special". Then Eric tried to tell her that she had to wait until she was 18 and she got really upset and told us it wasn't fair! I think we will have to pull out the "For the Strength of Youth" pamphlet for our five year old??? I guess that will be our FHE next week. I'm thinking I could blame it on Princess parties (see below) or maybe Aunt Amanda she looks a bit sneaky.

What a fun post, you guys have been busy with lots of parties. I don't know why the blog came back, it just did! Now I need to think of some recipes.
I have a friend out here that her little boy is 6 and he had a little girl call him just the other day. They chatted for 15 minutes and when the call was over, her six year old told her she called to talk about there first kiss! (that had happened that day) And they were going to do it again, "under the swing set, and we are going to tell everyone we need a little bit of room!" She told him kissing is only for people who love each other. He continued to tell her, "but mom, she loves me, and I love her." It must just be that age. Hali will hopefully grow out of it for a while.
I'll be sure to keep Brayden away;) That is so funny!! Fun parties, I love her with her feet crossed, too cute!!
I love it. That is so cute. She is really cute too. I hope she has a curfew ha ha!!
I cracked up when I read your post! Hopefully this is a stage and not going to last long! When do Boys start to have "cooties?!" Lol
How funny!!! Let me know what you decide to tell her and what works. kate is getting there and it would be nice to know what to do.
Oh Mindy, you guys are going to have a hard time to keep the boys away! She's such a cute girl!
HAHA. that is so funny! she is such a cutie I am sure you will be having to bat the boys off! Tell Amanda she looks beautiful! I hope she had fun at prom. Oh, and the muscles have recovered. Thanks for you help!! :)
Oh boy! I didn't think you had to worry about that stuff for a long time! Last time I was Hali she was telling how she was dangerous and liked bugs! HAHA! I would for sure blame it on the princess parties (and maybe Aunt Amanda too)! JK! I remember starting to say I liked boys and my mom always made me say:
"I'm a cute little girl,
with a cute little figure.
But stay away boys,
till I get a little bigger!" haha!
She is just too cute!
Your girls are so cute Mindy! Bryan is scared to death of even the thought of having a girl. If it makes you feel any better, Zach talks about getting married in the temple all the time...he's 4.

I loved this story, I laughed and laughed, probably just because I don't have a little girl. She is such a little cutie though.
I want to come to your Thurs. class, I'll call you.
Thanks Mindy!
Good luck with that. She is such a pretty girl I'm sure it will only get worse! Is that you sisters picture at the bottom? When I first glanced at it I totally thought it looked like Mariah Carey.
Speaking of being up late at night! What's up with that? I love the story. I'm afraid I had the same thought yesterday about pulling out the "For the Strength of Youth" pamphlet. Seriously!
