Memorial Day

Because of the beautiful weather on Memorial Day we spent the day indoors. We were planning on doing yard work all day, but we had to make other plans. We took the kids to the Mayan. We usually go once a year and the kids love it. It is funny every time we go they have changed everything. The waiting room has been totally remodeled and so has the menu. I actually liked the food this time!


After lunch we decided to try out the Living Planet Aquarium. The kids were able to stick their hands into an open aquarium and touch real stingrays! We were able to see sea horses, an octopus, some sharks and some jelly fish. Jelly fish are very interesting. It was a great day! We finished it off with a barbeque at Grandma and Grandpas.
We did buy a pass to the Aquarium because it was not much more than the admission for one day. So if anyone wants to go let us know! We need to get some use out of our pass.
